I had met some random fans that flew in from Minnesota and 1 guy that flew by himself to cheer on the Chicago Sky. I thought that was dedication.
I didn’t think they had such hardcore fans like that. I love the Raptors but I’m not sure I would follow them across the country on my own for a pre-season game.

I’d love for the WNBA to establish a presence here. Obviously Toronto or other major centres make the most sense, but I’d love some professional sports in the smaller markets that won’t be getting an NBA team.

This was a one off special event, the attendance numbers wont be any different than a majority of other WNBA teams if it was a regular occurrence. People can virtue signal all they want but they wont put their time or money where their mouth is.
