Why is REALLY WANTED capitalized as if not every team REALLY WANTED Wemby? ESPN needs to hire better writers or AI babysitters
This is a case when rigging the draft was a good thing. Wemby had to go to Pop and the Spurs so he can max out his potential before he goes to LA like J.Will said this morning. I was excited to see the Spurs get the #1 pick but it was no surprise. A lot of people are saying he will be a bust but I just can't imagine that.

I’m from Austin, giant Spurs fan, and I’ve met lots of international Spurs fans online. Particularly French and Argentinians because of Tony Parker and Manu. I love it personally, I’m happy that since we have the smaller Central Texas market we also get some international pull. I think the Spurs will be a great fit. He will have Pop to coach him up and help him develop and he will have Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, and Tony Parker to help mentor him. He’s gonna have the whole fanbase’s love and support too.

Look how depressed the "sports media" is in covering the Spurs or any small market now that they got the #1. If LA or NY got the #1 they would be smiling/predicting/dancing/covering 24/7, talking about Chips etc Listening to this is as if Windy is talking about somone that died.
