I’d love to see them get that 3rd pick. And Sharpe from Portland. And move off the big 3 for a youth movement. Scoot or Miller with Pat Williams sharpe and coby White might be better than expected
AKME has to pick a direction! Either start a rebuild or get creative and find ways to make the roster better. We cannot continue to preach continuity and hope Lonzo magically comes back and saves us. I would much rather sit through a rebuild than be in basketball purgatory

If Lonzo was magically healthy I would run it back or maybe deal for a spot 3 point shooter but that wont be the base. I wish Lonzo could come back.

Keep the "big 3" until right before the trade deadline before one of their contracts is up so we dont let them walk for nothing…Keep Coby, Caruso. I would keep Patrick W. one more year also. AKME are creative but i agree with continuity and health. Everyone is through with AKME already who saved the Bulls a little over 2 years ago, now it seems they have become GarPax to everyone. Where is the patience. AKME will get creative if they have to and make the right tweaks or retools. Relax

I'd love to trade Vooch in a sign and trade for the 10th pick and filler. then follow that up with trading DeMar to a contender for picks or a good role player or two. If Zach isn't cool with this, trade him for a haul of picks and begin rebuilding around a core of P. Will, Coby White and Ayo Dosunmo. Oh, and then we also have to climb from out of Lonzo's deal as well.
The only way anything will work in the long run is if the front office invests in player development and a much better coaching staff ASAP.
I hope we don't trade another draft pick again for a while unless it will really move the needle for us (cough which I doubt).

If the Bulls just do a full rebuild our options are unlimited, but I see us being satisfied as play in team yet again next year and the year after that. But we NEED to move on from Demar if that's the only thing we do this offseason, Demar is expiring after this year so just trade him now and get some value back. Move Pat to SF and hopefully sign a PF this offseason on the vet minimum that can defend/rebound. Resign Vuc for 3 years and match the offer sheet for Coby White. The team is still bad but at least the shots are freed up for Vuc and P.Will to take! Also note, P.Will's rookie scale contract is expiring so we have to act accordingly very very soon.

Looking at the teams that are in the conference finals, I believe the NBA is moving to create teams around 2 all star players and solid role players around them.
Bulls have a star in LaVine and solid role players in Patrick, Caruso, White and Beverly. The way I see it, the Bulls need a second star and 2 more solid role players. They have the salaries of Vuc and DeRozan to accomplish this. Also from Lonzo who I don't believe will play basketball again, so the Bulls should try and get a disabled players exception.
Add complementary pieces like Drummond, DJJ and Dalen Terry and I believe the Bulls can have a very competitive team next season.

The lottery pick will not give the Bulls instant improvement. Often, the player needs to adjust to the NBA game. The Bulls need a proven player to improve their record.
