This team needs a shooter.
A shooter means Jalen and Randal are not double teamed. I get everyone hating on JR but the second he touched the ball Miami was shadowing him home with 2 guys. Same with Brunson. The difference is Brunson can create better then Randal. (Not talking about Defense)
The reason this happened is because Miami was just saying you can’t shoot the basketball. So we can date anyone else to score. And while RJ played well he did it by going to the basket not shooting.
Beal can shoot the basketball. But it doesn’t work if Randal is not on the team. It is again redundant.
Beal-Randal and Brunson on the same team on paper if Beal stays healthy is a very good basketball team. Beal makes complete sense. Just not without Randal. Because they will still dare anyone else to shoot.
This team is not winning without Randall. The question is can they win with him?

Can be durable prior to age 30 lol. Since then averaged 51 games per season and is only getting older. Only 62% of possible games played in 4 years. Not the guy you want to pay 50 million a year for.
