[Slater] Mike Dunleavy Jr. did rep the Warriors in the GM meeting in Chicago this week, as @MarcJSpears reported. He has stood in Myers’ place in several other GM capacities/meetings before. It’s part of why he has been viewed as the natural successor if Myers walks away.

Sad & Joyous moment. I’m extremely sad it sounds like Bob will leave but I’m happy he’s taking the time away to spend with his family and make up for lost time 🥺

nearing the end of a momentous era 🙁

    bittersweet.

  3. If Bob does indeed leave, it signifies the beginning of the end of the Steph/Klay/Dray era. Not to say we won’t win another chip the during Steph’s twilight years but the connection Bob had with the core 3 and the moves he made for all of our title runs shouldn’t be overlooked.

If Bob leaves us we might be saying goodbye to either Dray or Klay. The new guy will want to make a move and establish himself and those two are just the easiest to trade. They have pedigree and winning mentality

It’s not like he just showed up naturally lol. They sent him in Myers place.

It’s like saying Kamala Harris is viewed as the natural successor of Joe Biden. They were both specifically selected for these roles.

  6. Bob looked at the ways the team to get better, and didn’t see many avenues with all the restrictions. Maybe he’s on his way out
