No team should be building around a player who can’t shoot well not smart strategy
EDIT: Giannis, Lebron… Ok. These guys shoot well cause they get to the rim at will.

This sub knows he can’t shoot
Who the fuck projected him to average 25+ points 😂
Who let OP cook

Don’t worry we’ll find our 1st option after years of tanking. Hopefully Scottie sticks around long enough to be our third option.

Sub: Development isn’t linear
Also sub in 5 months: Why does Scottie Barnes not simply eat the opposing team and average a double double every night?
I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if this is the outcome when people were already turning on him *in his sophomore season.* Not to say criticism of his play in the 1st half was unwarranted but expecting him to become a premier wing when he’s 3rd in the pecking order and his jumpshot still needs work is simply unfair to Scottie.
Give your young guys time to make mistakes and learn from them. It’s part of the process of getting them to achieve their potential. And Scottie has, in my opinion, the second-highest potential of the 2021 draft class if he can reach it.

he’ll average like 19.7/8.1/5.7 if we trade pascal which isn’t awful

Haha this sub would have done the same had we tanked and got a Scoot, Miller, or a Thompson twin.
