They new CBA really hurts their plan though. The value of draft picks is about to plummet massively. For example if the Spurs traded their future picks and went into the luxury tax (as expected with Wemby) their pick would be between #28-30 every year. Even if they have the worst record they would get a pick in the 28-30 range. Takes the trade value completely out of draft picks
