This fan base is super split on KPJ, and it kinda sucks to see. I was 100% over the kid when he left at half time 2 years ago. He showed me something this year, and you can’t question his love of the game and how hard he played this year. Even through all the losing and shit talking he gave this team everything he had. You can love him or you can hate him, but you absolutely have to respect his commitment to the team after that incident.
I still think he dribbles himself into trouble a little to much, and other times he picks up his dribble in terrible situations. I don’t question his commitment to Houston though, and that’s a huge sign of personal growth and development in a player.
KPJ can’t be a starter on a contender. The end. Truth hurts. This team is gonna be bottom 5 again next year
Give me Amen at pg
I really wanna see how Ime uses him at Pg. ime made Tatum and Smart have more playmaking skills within their offense. I just wanna see how he uses him as our pg
I like KPJ as a starting 2 or 6th man that can finish the game. He’s playing the wrong position
Exactly. I love me KPJ. He’s the same position as Jalen, which isn’t a bad thing. He’s great injury insurance (everyone gets injured) and an amazing 6th man off the bench. He’d be the perfect 3rd or 4th scoring option on championship team.
We are young and have a way to go, so I’m cautiously optimistic he continues to improve, but he isn’t a point guard. In reality he’s way more valuable as a trade chip with that contract than he is on the court for us.
Honorary kpj truther here🫡
Porter-Green-Amen-Smith-Sengun I hope it works.
Like a whole team of secondary ball handlers.
“We could trade you for him. We could trade you for him. Or we could trade you for him.”
