Looks like he scores more efficiently against other teams’ bench players.

Have no idea what to make of this, he does better with more spacing?

Hart – RJ – Mrob provide no spacing, we didnt need stats to tell us this

This is just playoffs? Not enough sample size, need to look at regular season stats as well. Also the “vs bench players” part probably has something truth too.

We know this. Rj randle Mitch thibs. Give me something else pleaseee.

randle plays agaisnt starters, randle plays not against the bench of the other team, therefore when randles out the players that are there get better

I don’t even know what efg means but I’m betting the Stat is good with quickly because quickly being in means Brunson is probably out making Randle the focus for the offense

Have been saying for a while now… you can’t have any kind of spacing if you’re gonna put Randle on the floor with RJ/Hart/Mitch.
Which is also why I’ve been saying that Thibs should be taking more of the heat for Randle’s poor playoff performance.

The Randle and RJ pairing has always been an issue for the past 4 years. Both realistically don’t synergize well.

Definitely interesting because we can all see the way the ball moves w Randle off the floor

Love J Hart but it seems like he killed us offensively whenever he wasnt hitting 50% from three

I have seen Mitch get in his way many times. Do you remember when Mitch was injured and Randle was the playing some of the best basketball we have seen from him. Hartenstein at least doesn’t need to be two feet from rim

In the playoffs the spacing issue was that Quickley and Grimes both didn’t play well and got hurt, plus Randle was very lousy and got hurt, so there was really no spacing.
The chart is that stats version of why they can’t just run it back. The Knicks lack a high end player even though Brunson is really good and they don’t have enough spacing at the 3/4/5 position. So they need to either trade for a high end player, or in the absence of that, get spacing to play with Brunson and Grimes at one of these position. Prioritize:
1. High end player if it’s there.
2. Trade for spacing without hamstringing future financial flexibility.
3. Get a secondary ballhandler for the bench unit.
The problem with spacing at the 5 is that there aren’t very many guys in the league that can space at that position, and the issue with keeping everyone is that the other floor spacer will take minutes away from Barrett or Randle.
I also think the Yankees should keep the max slot they have opening next off-season, so trading Fournier and/or rose just to accomplish this isn’t a good idea. I just don’t believe in the core of the team THAT much. It is a good team, but will stagnate as a 1st or second round exit without a higher level player than Brunson.
So the best solution is to trade Barrett or Randle to acquire spacing.
