  1. No Place Like San Antonio! 2nd biggest City In Texas-fastest growing City in Texas-and Austin and California people moving to San Antonio- San Antonio has 6 universities- 5 Junior Colleges-50 High Schools-thus far about 25 new Downtown Buildings going up from 10 stories to 32 stories-San Antonio On the Rise! my hometown-

  2. THe Spurs will actually Play Zack Collins at Center to PROTECT Wemby…. Sochan and Wemby will be interchangeable at the 3 and 4. If anything it might force Johnson to the bench as a Bench scorer. Biggest need is really just a top Tier floor general.

  3. If the Spurs have "good talent" already, then what team doesn't have good talent? Is there a team with a worse current roster?

  4. This changes nothing for the Spurs. Pop is a relic and wont be coaching long enough to make a difference, the roster is total garbage from top to bottom, and the Western conference is loaded with two superstar teams that are a decade further along than the Spurs. San Antoinio NEVER gets FA and no stars want to play there. Spurs will be in the lottery next year vying for another 1st overall pick after another subpar season.

  5. Wemby already played for Tony Parker's team in the French league so he already have a relationship with him. Even years before that.

  6. Thought we were about to see koc and Vernon in the same room and I almost spit out my coffee

  7. The Spurs sat out the 2023 season and got Wemby while fine tuning the team. It's a win now atmosphere in San Antonio people dont just hit the streets around here.

  8. What this guy on about LOLL. BROOK?? Save that fuckin money theyre not winning for 4 years may as well save it for when they need to pay their guys

  9. What really nobody has talked about is that Wemby through his people, has said that he doesn’t want to play center in his NBA career. If that’s the case you are going to play him at the 4! If no one believes me, look it up!

  10. Most of the media did not watch Spurs games.
The Spurs was good enough to win 30 to 40 games last season.
The team decided to tank and rested players on daily basis.
Not that we have championship talent now, but we were a lot better than our record.

  11. I say bring Jakob back (cheaper than Brook) and then trade KJ for a vet PG, if we can keep him great but he’ll be the piece teams want. Imagine, 2-5, Vassell, Sochan, Wemby, Jakob….top 5 defense

  12. Biggest thing missed here was that Pop has made it clear that Zach Collins is the starting center. Wemby has stated he wants to play power forward. Wemby will get tossed like a ragdoll by somebody like Joel embiid until he bulks up.

  13. As a Spurs fan I'm holding my breath on his health. That said I'd package future draft capital for Dame and go get a couple of 3&D guys with the cap space. They are positioned well to win ASAP especially if sochan and vassell can take steps forward next season

  14. i am in UTTER DISBELIEF that KOC has been covering the league for like what, 15+ years? and NEVER been to San Antonio….. wow…. (and yes, as a Texan, I guarantee you SA does suck LOL)

  15. Thunder, Spurs and Magic rebuilds are coming together nicely. Rockets and Pistons also have some exciting young pieces, all of those teams should have nice futures if they’re players develop correctly.

  16. Only thing with adding B. Lopez, now Sochan would have to come off the bench. Don't know if I want that this early in his career.

  17. It's perfect for Victor, the Spurs, and the NBA. Coach Pop, a cosmopolitan citizen, has had great success developing players not born in the continental U.S., e.g. Duncan and Ginóbili, and in particular Frenchmen, Parker and Diaw. There have been others. Foreign-born sometimes find the NBA difficult. Coach Pop has had good success in realizing their potential. A huge win for the league in getting a good shot at a superstar. It almost looks rigged (which it was not).

  18. we have sochan and just drafted the best center prospect in NBA history, why is he talking about brook lopez? we just need a point guard and our young wings to develop and we're set.

  19. The GM should fire Pop and appoint himself the new coach, that would be karma

  20. Would you want Brook Lopez or Fred Van Vleet? Fred, Vassel, Keldon Johnson, Sohan, Wemby. Seems like a better fit.

  21. This is really weird to say "Spurs could sign Brook Lopez"…He's a 5, he's a ring protector, who can score both from 3 and close to the basket…This is exactly what Victor is…Sochan at the 4, Victor at the 5, is a perfect duo. They need a point guard, not a center.

  22. Dude my dreams as a Spurs fan are here. National media is covering the San Antonio Spurs.
You may not understand it’s been a dry spell for a minute. Even when the Spurs were winning chips they were boring. There is fireworks 💥 in San Antonio!!

  23. Collins won’t be on the bench, Tre Jones will be. Collins at the 5, Wemby at the 4, Keldon at the 3, Vassell at the 2 and Sochan at the 1.

  24. Pop been playing chess since he traded murray. Im excited to see what ring chasing vet team pop is gonna build around wemby.
