Trade down and pick lively and get some assets?
Draft grady dick. He's the perfect spot up shooter they need. Ditch kyrie. You'll never win with that guy and use the $ to sign a big man with defense and perhaps a 2nd guard defender.

Imma mavs fan first but we owe it to Luka to try to win now. Dude has a chance to be a top 10 all time guy and its just blasphemous to waste years of his career
Condition 1: The coaching staff is indeed good at developing talent.
Condition 2: This draft class really is brim full of talent.
Condition 3: Draft picks are as de-valued since Rudy as everyone keeps saying.
Condition 4: Mavs can get more draft picks with for instance S/T for this draft class.
Question: What would it take to get Portlands 3rd pick in best case scenario or something else that fits the timeline?
