I used to pull for the Spurs, being a small market former ABA team, just like the Pacers. At this point, I am a bit jealous. It would be nice if the Pacers could get the number one pick once. Spurs have 3 times, in important drafts.

Bill keeps comparing Wemby to like Kareem, Duncan, and Ewing who came and in were really good and turned around the team immediately. But all of those guys came in after FOUR years of college. Ewing was 23 before he played his first NBA game. Obviously you should surround him with a good team to help him grow right now but there's no massive rush to be incredible right now. It's not gonna be a 30 win turnaround like Duncan in 1998
