No to Porzingis…he bailed on us screw him. No to KAT…soft and that won't fly in NY. No to Beal…guy is almost 30, plays 50 games a year, and has a stupid contract.
I'd sell the farm for SGA. I'd do Randle, Barrett, and a #1 for Siakam and Anunoby. I'd do Randle and a #1 for Mikal Bridges. I'd do Randle for Myles Turner or Jerami Grant.
Would also love to pry away Bennedict Mathurin…tough, talented kid.
I'd like a new coach who actually understands offensive strategy (not just ISO and more ISO), ball movement, and in-game adjustments…doesn't kiss Randle's butt at the expense of the team…doesn't run his players into the ground by playing them 40 minutes every night and leave them in the game with 3 minutes left up by 20..develops players and let's them play more than 10 minutes a game according to their STRENGTHS (think Obi standing in the corner shooting 3"s)…and when things go wrong doesn't say 100 times per season to "trust the pass" and "I have to look at the film."
I'd love D Rose (much respect) to retire and stay on our coaching staff.
N.Y. should go for Jalen Brown from Boston if possible because him and Brunson wouldn't get in each other's way on court and Brown seems to be a good character guy.
Knicks have absolutely nothing to trade except for a bunch of worthless 2nd round picks that nobody wants. All of the Knicks alleged first round picks are protected and all the other team in question has to do is tank so the Knicks don't get the pick, just like this year. Gutless Adam Silver will do his usual nothing because he absolutely despises the New York Knicks.
Can we for once shot higher
