Ahhhh he is going to hire D'Antoni. There is no input because Morey was waiting for a reason to get ridd of Doc so he could get D'Antoni in.

That team is going nowhere without a star wing or star point guard. For the past four years, all you need to do is send a double team at Embiid the second he puts the ball on the floor, or pack the paint. Phili doesn’t have enough shooting to counteract this defense. Miami has it figured out it’s a 3 and D team with Butler leading it. Phili has never built the correct team around Embiid. Harris is not the guy he can’t hit threes in important stretches. It’s mind blowing how they can’t put the right fit around Embiid. He probably has 2-3 years left before his body breaks down. Biggest waste of a generational player I’ve ever seen.
They need a coach who is strict, someone with respect. Joel keeps blaming with no show and Harden disappears in the playoffs. I would let Harden walk, hire a respected coach and pickup another solid scorer. Vanvleet is a free agent and Maxey is an upcoming star.
Harris KILLS them on this roster. The person in that spot needed to be a 40 to 44% three-point shooter I coach middle school basketball and I know this the ball always gets rotated to Tucker or Harris because that’s what the defense wants and you need Tucker because he’s the best garbageman in the league Harris has to go and I can’t believe he makes $39 million

I know embiid had a great statistical season but I’m not sure how anyone could watch him play and think he’s a top 5 player in this league.

100% joel was consulted, this is more saving face for Embiid that he got his coach fired and put it more on Harden.
Monty Williams or Mark Jackson are good choices for any team
Embiid can win only if he gets paired with someone who has huge heart and is a true leader, like Jimmy Buckets, Lebron or Steph. Joel is a spoiled 30 year old child that is so focused on his personal award that he really needs that leadership and guidance.
