I am a diehard fan and have been for 31 years! If Dame is going to demand that we trade the number three pick or he wants out then 100% I would rather trade him than trade the opportunity to have two likely future Hall of Fame back court players to build around and really compete for 10+ years! I feel like a lucky fan to have had Dame lead our team from the moment he arrived in Portland . Dame should stay as long as he wants. He has earned the respect of everyone who paid attention. I think we can still put a competitive team around him.
Facts. We just need to get him some help. I thought trading CJ was a great move to open the way to a duo partner for Dame, but all we got was Jerami Grant. Hes a decent 3 or 4, but as a Blazer fan, it's kind of crushing that we're wasting the greatest player we've ever had who loves our city…
