Jokić, Nuggets host LeBron & Lakers in Gm 2 of Western Conference Finals | NBA | FIRST THINGS FIRST

LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers are 5.5-point underdogs tonight in Denver against Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes debate if they expect the Lakers adjustments to slow down Jokić.

  1. Nugget fans better hope they win this series. If you cant beat a team that was just constructed a month ago with a rookie HC, then you have no hope moving forward.

  2. you can say the same of AD will he have a brilliant game? cause what are the odds of AD dropping 40 again? not high at all.

  3. Dorp the ties and suites guys, zipped all the way up to your Adams apple. come on. Just chill a bit and act normal and geniuine and wear a t-shirt.

  4. I am a Bron fan and would love for him to have another finals run, but if any team has to beat them, let it be the Nuggets. Jokic, Murray, KCP, love them.

  5. I think Denver leads wire to wire and wins by double digits. Neither AD or Lebron will have more than 25 and Nick Wright will blame the refs

  6. Come on. Yes Jokic has a bad fourth quarter, but that had nothing to do with something special Lakers did. The team was winning by so much and he lost focus. Won't happen again

  7. Nick is right. Jokic had to play 10 more minutes than his season average. Shots coming up short is a sign of fatigue. Same thing happened to Curry.

  8. Nick is to Lakers biased. His argument seems to be that Denver and Joker won't repeat their performance. Uh AD scored 40! Will anyone be surprised if he scores 10 next game? You better be worried about the Lakers repeating their performance

  9. The only thing that error worry me if I were a Nuggets fan is if they start to double LeBron or AD. Ironically the Nuggets played the defense Brou was talking about: let the stars get theirs and stop everyone else.

  10. Lebron is the only star i see getting winded in every game he is in. He is old and it shows. He seems to be the one that relies on everyone else. Hes done. Maybe he will try and get 1 or 2 more years but I don't think it will help his team or any team

  11. Jokic is "not a great athlete", Nick. Lol. Looks like your understanding of what constitutes a great athlete, much like your overall basketball acumen, is severely limited.
