I used to pray for times like this
I can’t complain we went top 2 instead of falling, but like we always miss out on these generational prospects. I believe in Scoot or Miller though whoever we end up taking.

Scoot and LaMelo gonna be filthy
Is Scoot a lock at 2? He was the consensus 2nd pick until some mocks put Miller there recently. I don’t watch College basketball aside from some March Madness and Miller was horrendous. Saw Scoot’s highlights and he just looks like a star.
Also, if we draft Scoot, will he ride the bench like laMelo’s rookie year? Will Terry be the 6th man? Traded in the offseason? I don’t know if Miller fits here because there is a log jam of forwards if Pj and Miles are expected back
Not gonna pretend like this isn’t a major cope, but the silver lining is that we don’t have to worry about Wemby getting injured.

I’m content with 2. Scoot and Miller are talented enough to be first overall picks in any other draft.

The pick has to be Scoot, I don’t see how they leave any interviews with him without a doubt in their mind that he’s the one.
His maturity is years beyond his age. At 17 going to the G-League and still only 19 after it. It takes someone with a lot of maturity to do what he did and succeed.
I just don’t see how we can compare Scoot to Miller. If I were the Hornets, Scoot has to be the pick.
Don’t really get why everyone is pretending like LaMelo hasn’t been splitting time off the ball with Terry, Hayward, hell even PLUMLEE his whole career and killing it. He does his best scoring work off the ball. Scoot and Melo is a perfect fit.
Makes me so mad that the Spurs blatantly tanked and got rewarded for it, but I feel like moving up so is our reward for not tanking and actually trying to win every game all the way through. Also who even needs Wemby when you have Mark Freaking Williams.
