Could the Rockets TRADE UP to Draft Scoot Henderson?? | ESPN Houston

The Rockets fell to 4th in the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday, but that doesn’t mean they’re out of options. Rumor has it, Charlotte could take Brandon Miller at #,2 and Portland could be looking to trade the 3rd pick. Does this clear a path for the Rockets to draft Scoot Henderson?

  1. Scoot is a franchise player and will change the organization he's similar to Ja Morant, and De'aaron Fox elite guards that are quick, explosive and can score at will and are playmakers, he's a All NBA talent âđŸ”„

  2. Why not trade up for Scoot and let KPJ be your 6th man(Jamal Crawford role) or package the pick with Sengun to Portland. Grant will be a free agent. This allows Portland to sign and trade grant to bring them a guy to help Dame

  3. Scoot and Amen are like the same type of player. both cant shoot, can facilitate, and athletic. not worth to trade up tbh

  4. I would trade our 4th pick and the Clippers first and next years Nets 1st pick for the second pick!

  5. No Harden. Harden cares more about hookers and will corrupt our young guys. Plus he gutted our team and then bailed on us. Keep our picks and draft Walker.

  6. What is Cody smoking? What superstar free agents are clamoring to get to the worst team?

  7. Scoot would be another young player with sub par shooting and no defense on the Rockets. Him being undersized only adds to the risk. If he falls to them then fine but giving up more to get him at this point isn’t worth it imo

  8. Take one of Portlands bad contracts to trade up. Works out for both teams. Portland gets cap room to sign someone out right.

  9. Scoot, Jalen, and Alp would be the best young core in the league all 3 could be the stars in the future. I say do it, not to mention we don’t need more young players we should get quality or nothing.
