I laugh when I hear people complaining about the refs when the LAKERS got all the whistles to start the 1st half off. It was so bad not only were the Denver fans booing, but many people had to turn the game on mute because Van Gundy and Mark Jackson were terrible, one sided bias for the Lakers and I usually like the two of them, though I enjoy the TNT cast better. More objective.
The Lakers have gotten the better end of the REFS WHISTLE ALL PLAYOFFS LONG. Ask Golden State or better yet, look at the disparity on the stat sheet. They flop way too much over there and fall down too much. It’s weird.
If Lebron doesn’t make it to the Free Throw line and if he doesn’t cause havoc in the paint, the Lakers lose every time. The majority of his scoring and I’ll address the elephant in the room because media members are on pay roll, but the MAJORITY of his scoring comes from the paint area. He JUST started adding the three to his repertoire a handful of years ago and he’s not really good in the mid range or post. He’s a THREAT in the post, because he’s an ELITE passer with elite VISION. He’s equally a threat driving because he’s bigger than everyone else, but he has a score first mentality when doing downhill.
The reason why many don’t revere him across the board as the goat is his SKILL PACKAGE and wasn’t the defensive player that Mike or Kobe was on the wing or even Scottie, since he’s listed as a Forward.
If Denver figures out a way to keep them perimeter oriented and don’t act SOFT in making the lane more muddled for drivers (Lebron, Dennis, Austin), this will be a sweep.
The Lakers effect the game defensively and their ability to get to the Free Throw line. PERIOD. If they can impose their will like this, they’ll get a game or two at best, but there’s no excuses because they have big bodies ALL OVER the court and on the bench.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mike throws another wrinkle in there and plays Deandre Jordan, beside Jokic and Gordon, along with KCP and Murray and that’ll add rim protection in spurts and is a really big unit that can defend (especially KCP; underrated wing defender, 3&D guy).

Why are we still saying the bubble was a fluke? All final four teams from the bubble are there again. Each team was on a even playing field! No home court advantage, no traveling, basically an empty gym playing physical basketball with championship aspirations on the line! Everything was legit.

The world was on lockdown due to COVID-19, Kobe Bryant passing away, riots due to George Floyd Death, heck even Kenny Smith got up live on television and walked away lol. 2020 was a horrible year and people just wanted to be with there family.
