when was the last time Troy was right about something related to the wizards?
This is regarding [this story from yesterday.](https://www.reddit.com/r/washingtonwizards/comments/13knszs/adrian_wojnarowski_espn_sources_los_angeles/) I didn’t even really look into it all that much because I thought maybe it was just another name. Is this Winger guy anything to write home about?
Don’t know anything about him specifically, but I wouldn’t mind hiring someone from the clippers. Even before PG13 and Kawhi and all the crazy luxury tax dollars, they had some really good over-performing rosters. Also really good draft picks like SGA and Mann.
edit: the more I read about him the more I’m on board.

1. worked for 7 years under Presti in OKC and made some good draft picks there (Mitch McGary, Reggie Jackson, Steven Adams, Andre Roberson, and Cameron Payne).
2. Shortly after he was hired in LAC, they traded Blake Griffin’s enormous contract to Detroit in 2018.
3. he turned down an offer from MIN in 2019, so he does have standards and Ted is gonna have to put in work/money to get him.
for anyone interested in how Michael Winger looks or sounds like, I found this clip of him talking https://twitter.com/LAClippers/status/1094133123174952960
Meyers aint happening, but I’m absolutely fine with Winger or Langdon being hired. Just want someone with ZERO ties to this org to take this role. Just remains to be seen if they’ll have full autonomy over the roster – which I reeeeeeally hope happens.
I’m down
