I’d do it in a heartbeat. I don’t think Portland would do it though. A #3 pick is just too valuable.

Locked on raps and Blazers did a crossover pod with this exact trade, if ur interested.

Thoughts are you should spend a second looking up this exact same trade 2 dozen times this last week on this board…

I’d only take it if scoot was available

If Harden good to Houston isn’t it more likely that they’re gonna want to trade the 4th pick instead? Especially for a player like Siakam who would help them instantly compete.
Feels like that’s more likely than Portland stuff even though I prefer Portland’s pick and assets

For people in favor of a Simons based deal, I’m wondering how you view his long term role on our roster? Is he our new starting PG? Starting SG? A flamethrower off the bench? Im having a hard time seeing how he would fit a contending roster

Another classic post by a nephew on here. Scoot already is more valuable than Siakam as a player/trade piece. And they’re going to threw in Simon’s as well. To be a 7th seed in the west for the next couple years?

Even if Fred is healthy this year and returns to his former defensive play, pairing him with Simons is a recipe for disaster.
We all like to complain about the offence, but the difference between this year and last was the drop off of our defence. Hopefully a new system will better utilize our strong defensive front court, but we can’t have two undersized and poor defenders as guards.
