Here is where I disagree with Shaq and Rich – IF Wemby had to play in the old school bball era (which I grew up in and miss – I was taught that basketball was a contact sport), no team would put him at 5 OR 4. He’d be a 3, and good luck trying to guard a dude that size with swings around 6’6, 6’7. He’s got the feet and athletic ability to stay with smaller dudes.
Victor is gonna be a hell of a problem for every NBA team. Who even has a chance to guard him? Giannis?
Jokic only takes 2.2 3 point attempts per game. Yes he shoots it extremely well, but you guys are quite misleading on the thought that he's floating around the 3 point line.
I think the only difference is lebron came from high school basketball to the NBA and made a quick impact.. His size was not of a typical high schooler. He came in the NBA with already NBA body. Wemby is thin and lengthy but has already playing among grown men and putting up numbers is amazing itself. I wish the media didn't over hype the kid this early in his career. I do wish this kid well. I do believe he will thrive in the Spurs system. I gave him 2-3 years to show his true potential.

Spurs will review their options in 25-26 when megastars become avail. Let the kid play first and actually see what we have

I'd give him a year, let him develop, then we can take over
