It sucks he left in such a bad way. All the stories coming out about how he was manipulating the organization the way he did and the front office basically enabled him. I think if none of that went down I’d be a lot more on board for a return but after all of that and his tenures in Brooklyn and Philly…. It’s really just an overwhelming “meh”.

Lakers paid Kobe the max and they were stuck in mediocrity until he retired because he took up all that cap space so they couldn’t improve the team.
