Via Domo: [Jon Chepkevich] “Getting eyes on projected top-ten pick, Anthony Black, here in Chicago. A lot to like w/ his combination of size, feel, playmaking, and defensive instincts/versatility. Working w/ Steph Curry’s trainer to fine-tune his jump shot.”

I rather have Walker or Whitmore since they’re from Maryland. But I trust the Wizards to make the right decision when drafting. Scouting is part of their job, not mine

Hey, I’ve heard this one before! His shot will come along because he’s working with a legendary shooting coach!

Next season, his shot somehow looks worse.

Maybe if we want shooting we should just take someone who’s already good at that, rather than hoping someone who can’t shoot eventually develops.

I’d like to know what the new GM thinks of these players

I think wiz fans are overthinking this. Black should be the pick. Athletic, can operate a PnR, gets to the rim and line frequently, gets after it defensively, and seems fearless. He’s a modern guard at his height as well. Sign me up for a guy like him.

I’d have a lot more hope for next season if WUJ wasn’t leading us. What is Ted thinking? They must have got all buddy buddy. Anyways, Im a big UK fan and watched Cason all season. I’d rather go with him over Black. Then again, I could probably do with watching some film on Black. Maybe I’ll change my mind.

    Can’t shoot.

    No thank you.

In 2023, there is no place in the NBA for anybody 1-4 who can’t shoot.
