James Harden rumors from the Philadelphia Inquirer:
“Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta “loves” the 76ers point guard. The franchise expects to reunite with him, sources say. Before hiring Ime Udoka on April 25, head coaching candidates were asked for their opinion on coaching Harden during the interview process, according to sources.
Sources have said his interest in returning to Houston is mutual and not a ploy to get a lucrative deal out of the Sixers. His mother still lives in the city. He has several business ventures there. And, as one source said, “he’s treated like a god in Houston.”

    How bout type “H” for HELL NO we don’t want Harden back. He’s a player that can score and do all these amazing things in the regular season and as soon as he’s on the biggest stage, he crumbles. Firing Doc was the right move, letting Harden walk is the right move. Build a GOOD team around Embiid and Maxey and we will be the best championship contending team we’ve ever been, better than when Harden was on our team. The NBA doesn’t work with multiple superstars on a team anymore. You need one superstar, one all star and great role players. Just look at the Nuggets if you don’t believe me. Superstar Jokic, and allstar Murray surrounded by great contributors and role players.

    Everything the Rockets have right now, good young players, a lot of good draft picks, the most cap space in the league, and now one of the best coaches in the league, was made possible with the Harden trade, he didn't leave the Rockets high and dry. He actually made things better for the organization by wanting out, because they wouldn't have won a championship with him over the last 3 years

    What Harden does well is exactly what the Rockets need, and he's the best player in free agency that has any interest in coming to Houston

    What fans don't realize is that players are paid there's salaries for the regular season not the playoffs and Harden always earned his high salaries in the regular season because he ALWAYS plays well in the regular season, he rarely gets hurt, plays high minutes, his teams win a lot games and he has ALWAYS gotten his team to the playoffs, which is the next step for this sorry-a$$ team

    Why so many fans want to not give Harden a big contract, but give another player a big contract who's not even as good as Harden even right now at 33/34 years old and that doesn't have the proven track record of leading a team to the playoffs each year like Harden does is ridiculous…

    I’m glad Harden is leaving as signing him to a 4 year deal would have been a terrible decision

    The problem with the Sixers is that we are stick in what I call ‘2nd round purgatory.’ It’s when you don’t have any flexibility or assets to get any better and your superstar player puts the team at this ceiling. We had the same problem with Barkley as he never got past the 2nd round after Dr J retired and Moses was traded. Iverson went to the playoffs 6 times and only got past the 2nd round once.

    I honestly don’t know what they can do. If you trade Embiid, you won’t get the return for him. But he will break down in the next few years, and then it will be another rebuild which could take years.

    Said it before and I'll say it again…morey should be fired for the Harden trade…he'll walk and we'll get nothing. He gave up Simmons, Seth, Drummond and TWO first round draft picks! He shouldve taken the Kings offer of Haliburton, Hield, Barnes and picks.

    Well that’s two down and five salaries to go…..Harris,Tucker,Melton,Niang and Korkmaz….Keep Maxey, Springer (he may have it) and make McDaniel into a real player…If you can’t build around Embiid ,then trade him for two starters and two draft choices..
