    Why would they, its not like theres a specific player we REALLY need out of this draft, it was scoot or wemvy and we missed out and thats fine, but id rather movenup in the draft in upcoming years

    Eh. They say this every year. It’s just easy free clicks because they know we have a lot of draft capital that it sounds potentially realistic. I imagine they have little idea what Presti is planning.

    This is just a logical guess. Could easily happen, but also could not. I doubt there’s any inside knowledge to back up this report, but I also bet Presti is now vetting every team above to see how much it would cost to move up.

    We’ve made moves in the draft every year since 2018. I expect more of the same this year. I’d love to get into the Top 5. A trade with Houston would be VERY easy.

    Presti has been aggressive in every draft of this rebuild, so this is an easy prediction to make. My bet is that Presti wants to get high enough to draft Jarace Walker. Not only would he be an excellent on-court fit with Chet, but he apparently has exactly the personality the Thunder have coveted lately: great guy and teammate, low ego, team-first player, and a super hard worker.
