Also you have to look at another element to why the Lakers get so much attention. Lebron. There are a lot of Lebron fans that watch him to see him win and there are a lot of Lebron haters, like myself, that want to see him fail. This is the Mayweather effect going on here. People didn't just watch mayweather fight, a lot of people want to see him get knocked out and get our kicks from that. The Nuggets are legit. Just not a lot of "Stars" on that team that we can't wait to watch play.

The announcers praise Jokic performance more than Anthony Davis who dropped 40 on Jokic in the first game Jokic is the Great White Hope in the NBA just as Caitlin Clark in NCAA womens basketball. Jokic and Clark gets more praise and adoration than any player in the game of basketball because they are great and white. All Mike Malone is doing is finding a way to motivate his team to win. Secondly, ITS THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS. What do you expect? They are the Greatest NBA Franchise in history with 17 NBA championships that features one of the greatest basketball players in history in LeBron James. If Denver were playing the Warriors, Steph and GSW would get more attention too because they are champions and won it 4 times in recent history. Jokic and Denver hasn’t won anything yet. You get real respect when you win a title. How about last 2 years. Jokic 2 time MVP with Denver and got ousted in first round both years.
