The Jays are undeniably skilled and athletic, but they cannot lead or be led. Kinda hard to win in that situation.
Smart and Horford have been trying to step up and lead but the Jays don’t listen. Three coaches tried to convince them to stay focused on team ball and they still have the same bad habits and limitations.
Sure, we might win, but it won’t be because they “figured it out” or “executed the plan.” It will just be because their skills/talents athleticism carried them.
This team needs star who can actualy run halfcourt offense. Brown wants out so throw him into package and trade for Luka.

Hello Good sir Heat fan here again 😂. Once again I love listening to the locked on of the other opponents. You give so much insight on the Celtics and help to understand exactly what Spo is doing and everytime I'm done listening I'm feeling even more confident. If you really think the Celtics is gonna go down to Miami and start raining threes 😂, you're on another level of delusion. Shooting is about rhythm. Miami is not going to allow that. They going to close out hard and they are going to switch the defensive scheme on you letting you believe you got a shot at doing whatever it is that seems to be working and gonna win😅. Bro Miami went on the 2 3 zone and Celtics was killing it with the pick and roll. Spo got them right where he wanted them 😂. They went away from their game plan and was not looking for 3's. Then Spo switched it back to a little bit of man with the weak side help. Now they try to get back to shooting 😂. At this point it's just a matter of contesting the shot . You are out of rhythm! 😂😂. What you are saying John is right…and it reflects the style of play that the coach wants to implement which is all offense and 3s. Which I think is not what all players want. This disconnect and the lack of trust on bench players whom were not developed during the regular season due to the heavy dependency on JT and JB is why this team lacks effort, energy, lazy and no heart.
Agree, JT and JB should stop the slow, heavy iso, ball hogging gameplay. Let Smart, DWhite, Brogdon be the floor general that they can be.
And Joe should hold everyone accountable by sitting players who are lazy and soft, specially JT, JB, and Smart.

Would you trust these bums to hit open shots when you’re getting double teamed? When are we going to admit that the personnel around Brown and Tatum is not a good fit? They are trying to make Derrick White, Al Horford, Malcolm Brogdon, and even mediocre Marcus Smart spot up shooters. Either Brad needs to do his job and get some legit shooters on the roster or the scheme needs to change. But I wouldn’t trust those guys to win me a game in the clutch either.
I’m tired of armchair coaching and making excuses for this team. Maybe they are not as great as we all think they are. If it’s talent or just sheer will, Miami has more. I hope they prove me totally wrong tomorrow. 😢
