On this edition of Road Trippin’, the crew dives in on the stellar play of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. As good as Lakers center Anthony Davis is, he is having a hard time containing Jokic, and the crew examines why. Channing also notices how the play of LeBron James has been adjusting to try and keep up with the Nuggets, as the Lakers will now try to rally this series.
Also, the crew discusses the San Antonio Spurs landing the first overall pick in this years draft, and getting the opportunity to draft highly-touted prospect Victor Wembanyama. Richard believes he is the most hyped prospect in NBA history still, but Rich also explains how he believes that his NBA career won’t start by setting the league on fire like many expect. Rich also takes the time to discuss how the process of lottery selection happens behind closed doors.
