The hornets had a much better record when LaMelo wasnt the first option. we have the perfect spacing for scoot to succeed. Good 3 point shooting guard as a teammate and an oversized rim stuffer to lay it off to.
The Hornets are NOT good enough to be talking about what players "fit"! They have a lack of talent, give me the star that doesn't fit vs a role player that fits.
I don't care who the Hornets pick, want them to be a consistent playoff team. Get the next superstar to pair with Lemelo and Mark Williams!!

That's like asking should Memphis had drafted RJ Barret over Ja Morant in 2019. Everyone knew Zion was going 1rst. Ja was 2nd best in that draft. This year Scoot is clearly 2nd best atleast. Hornets just draft Scoot

I love scoot but scoot on this hornets team would give me major Atlanta hawks vibes. Whereas Miller fits a need that allows the hornets to win now.
Scoot/melo reminds me of OKC Russ an harden
If I'm kitch I'd go fir scoot Melo is versatile and can play 1-3 so Scoot as a back-up pg is bot a bad idea. Defense will suffer but I'd rather scoot that than Miller. Melo and Scoot already have chemistry from the rising stars game and melo have shown he can play with anyone.

Anyone that says they won't pick Scoot because of his size doesn't realize that John Stockton, Allen Iverson, Chris Paul are all shorter than him and Curry has him by half an inch. The man also has a 6'9 wingspan and athletics that Curry can't dream of. If he could somehow absorb even some of Curry's shot skills he will be an All Star. I am of the opinion that you can play Lamelo and Scoot together and it will work from day one. I honestly don't even care about the defensive frailty because we actually have a rim protector now in Mark. I watched Brandon Miller all year and I definitely I'm not upset with that selection… and even Amen wouldn't make me mad, provided Charlotte falls in love with the guy. But I see this as a Scoot's upside > Brandon's upside situation and that's about where we should fall on draft day.

this is not hard at all… scoot does not shoot well enough at 6 2 to be considered a franchise guy. he will be a liability on D to elite teams. his ceiling is not near as high as miller. miller is perfect for melo on the outside. miller shot 1.5 percent worst than grady dick from 3 for the year w higher volume and less help. plays legit like a taller paul george and the hornets are gonna fuck this up again im afraid. scoot shot 42 percent overall and 27 from 3 — again this is not close at all

Hornests need players that can shoot three comfortably. As well as tall enough to win rebounds as well defend.
