Embiid’s really the luckiest superstar in the league. Perennially injured so it’s always the excuse when he plays poorly and he always has a scapegoat to take the fall when things go wrong.
That final perdiction will read like a curse when 76ers get embarrassingly eliminated in the 1st?2nd round last year.

Lookin like rebuild season, Embiid aint that guy. To be fair Rivers is a wildly overrated coach. His record since the Celtics has been ass. Harden has always been a playoff choker. Also the fact that PJ Tucker outscored harden in game 7 blew my fuckin mind I never realized.
back in 2019 i said the sixers should have traded simmons and horford in a 3 team that would probably have gone thru: the sixers send simmons to golden state for wiggins, cap filler, the #2 pick in the draft, and the timberwolves pick in the 2021 draft. the sixers send horford to the kings for buddy hield and a filler. in 2020 they coulda rolled out a roster of lamelo ball, buddy hield, andrew wiggins, tobias harris, and embiid and also had the pick that became kuminga. and that would have allowed the sixers to split up the bad pairing of simmons and embiid as well as dump horford’s salary without giving up additional assets. sixers fans said that they would never give up someone as good as simmons for wiggins. look at y’all now.
following the harden trade i said the sixers would regret trading away seth curry in the deal and should have sent someone else or additional draft assets instead because seth curry helps open the floor for both harden and embiid to do their thing. sixers fans said that was dumb and they didn’t need seth curry. well the spacing for harden and embiid could have been more open in the playoffs but instead harden and embiid both struggled to get good looks. and now they fell short again.
now i’m saying the sixers need to sign and trade harden to get him outta there without losing him for nothing, trade toby to a team looking to dump salary for next season, and trade embiid for everything you can get for him. he’s proven time and time again that he can’t be the best player on a championship team because he crumples under pressure. there’s competing teams that have young assets to restart the process around maxey that could take embiid. like the heat, the pelicans, or the warriors for instance.
Embiid cares about personal success over championships…there's no way you can win a chip with that approach. Championships require sacrifice, something harden and Embiid's egos won't allow.

If they chose Jimmy over Tobias, and Simmons remained the same, Sixers would've been an NBA champs right now, or atleast reached the finals.

The last press conference was a highlight but I always thought Joel whined way more than befitting one of the more dominant forces in the league. He whined his way to the MVP – I will say that over and over again. The real MVP is in Denver, giving a daily masterclass on what being a centerpiece really entails.
If they were smart, they'd trade embid now. Max value.

How can sixers win, when their supposed to be dominant 7'ft, 300lb MVP is shooting step-back fade-aways againts flyweight guards??? Most of his points are from shooting jumpers over guards, He's trying to be AD or KD. Step back and fadeaway was invented for guys that are not blessed with height. If you are tall and big, you should play hard like shaq!
He's not even a rebounding machine and they call him "dominant".
Game 2 he got 3 rebounds. This series his rebounding average is for guards, not for centers. He is soft.

the best chance to play at Finals they had with team where they had Butler and JJ Reddick as sharp shooter. Everythibg before and after that its waste of time and money. coach Doc needs to retire. Owners must see that with Embiid they will never play Finals yet alone win the championship. PERIOD.
A bigger part of the problem is embiid is not the primary ball handler and if you watch the last two games, at the end of game six and the end of game seven, harden stopped passing him the ball and started playing hero ball, iso'ing like a fat old dude at the YMCA pick up game … So without someone actually facilitating for him, he can't score points … Problem was James harden and doc rivers without an actual offensive scheme to get. Embiid the ball and if not involve the other three guys on the court rather than just relying on the pick and roll that wasn't working …
And also it's on Daryl Morey, because he could've had halliburton and hield, plus Barnes for Ben Simmons and could've Kept the draft picks and Seth curry … but instead he got a washed up harden …
I believe Daryl Morey can pull some strings and make 76ers whole! That's why I believe 76ers can reach second round exit next year!

If I were the Sixers I'd trade Embiid for Dame and Nurkic. That way you still have a talented big man who is usually injured, but you would also then get a real leader who knows how to step up his performance in the playoffs. However, for Embiid this means twice the number of the games in Denver that he would have to duck.
