Hey man. First time watching your video and a as a Knicks fan you are 100% right with everything you said on how they can get better next season. We need a wing type player as well which you didn't mention, and the Knicks want one. They need to get better at 3s and free throws next season and keep drafting new players when they get those picks available in 2024 + that Mavs top 10 protected Pick. RJ and Mitch have to continue to get better.
Mitch has to work on his offensive game and free throws. He did ok in Free Throws in playoffs, but he has to get better because he had a good rebound season and his shot blocking, offensive rebound is super valuable to them. Just needs to develop his offensive game and shooting, jump shot, all offensive playmaking and he will give this team a huge boost. RJ will get better and develop as well; he just needs better ball handling.
. Turns the ball over a lot and improve his defense with his perimeter shooting including 3s as well. He's young and will continue to get better. Resign Josh Hart and figure out how they can move around Fournier and Randle. Fournier has a team option next season, and they can let him walk in free agency, thus giving the Knicks a lot of cap space, his contract is way too much overpaid. Rose is a FA soon, so you get more cap space and extra money in the luxury tax etc.
Plus, we got a lot of draft picks the next seven years, so we are set. Just extend Quickley to be a sixth man back up PG to Brunson and just develop the rest of the roster with new draft picks in the future and see where they continue in the East. Cavs and Heat are going to be back next season too, they got to keep up with those two in the East and get back next season for a deep playoff run while the team gets better. Would the Randle for KAT and the Barret for Anunoby trades be straight up? Which players are more valuable? Randle has been All NBA 2 of the las 3 years and Barrett is a few years younger and has a better injury history.
