Mavs be better off letting Kyrie Walk and getting the extra cash to spend than getting Russell. That guys always been a question and now more than ever.

If Mavs make the Ayton trade 10th & Bertans need to be moved back in the draft to say Nets or Jazz and draft two wings fixes your wing losses immediately. Also free’s up a lot of money to sing vets & gives you the full MLE getting of Bertans $.
I think the Mavs should trade THJ and Bertans but package it with the 2027 first round pick and keep the 10th pick this year. I also think they should do a sign and Trade with Kyrie. How about sending him to the Lakers for Austin Reeves, Bol and future considerations?

Remind me… what has gone RIGHT since we got Kyrie?
Don't get me wrong. I'm not BLAMING Kyrie for anything… but when we traded for Kyrie, we thought it IMPOSSIBLE that we would miss the playoffs… and then we missed the Playoffs. If that isn't a sign from the basketball Gods that we should try someone else insetad, I don't know what is.
If he's all that will sign on the dotted line… fine. I won't be heartbroken if we pay Kyrie for another go-round. But if we do sign Kyrie… it better be because no other max-level talents are interested.

I konw that this is a lot to considered but I wanna hear your guys thoughts on this and you can explain as well if it works or not.
Can we do a show on how the Mavs can get Dodo back (preferably for next to nothing)? We need him back badly and with him we can put together a great team just by adding a quality center.
mavs need to remove & fire jason kidd..before anything else..there's a lot good & better experience coach available..like monty williams, nick nurse, frank vogel, doc river & etc..much good & better than jason kidd..that nonsense worst coach of the mavs team..

Any trade that includes Josh Green, Jaden Hardy or the #10 pick shouldn't be taken seriously.
No fan of this team should want ayton. Not only will the suns ask for too much, he isnt worth HALF of what theyll want for him. He has no offensive bag what so ever and hes soft and cant grab any rebounds. He does not have a winners mentality.
Look man, Deandre Ayton is a very promising prospect who could use help and development. However, if the Mavs are sticking to this "win now" mindest. Ayton's lack off competitiveness and large salary will just restrict you. Luka and kyrie are your 1-2 punch just get quality role players. It's pretty obvious that stacking stars who don't fit, don't work. Kidd wants a rim defender and Ayton is a neutral defender who doesn't communicate let alone rotate.
I agree with Nick, defensive minded wings should be the top priority. With Kyrie and Luka in the backcourt, everyone else in the closing unit needs to be an above average defender.
If the mavs sign Kyrie and trade for ayton then it would be a good off season.
