Celtics fans were really talking shit about Steph going “night night” in the Warriors are eliminated thread on the main sub only for them to go out on a more embarassing fashion lmao

EDIT: Lol why are some people in this thread talking about how it’s “cringe” to trash talk the Celtics since they made if farther in the playoffs when this sub has been celebrating Lakers’ loss for the last 24 hours (including me ofc) and they’re the ones who sent us packing. Now it’s the Celtics and they’re off limits? Lmao it’s just fun off-season trash talk why are some people here so touchy and sensitive 💀

  2. shanks_you

Steph had so many iconic moments throughout that series.

    Really goat-tier shit.

  3. HawkFragrant5228

How did they get worse even after improving their roster?

  4. Marcostbo

It was their best shot. Now it is the last JayJay series

  5. Franklo

Is it more soul crushing to give them a glimmer of hope (1-2), or to be up 3-0 and eclipse the sun overhead?

  6. Amnesiquack

K this a stretch. But glad to see the Celtics getting owned by Himmy Buckets.

  7. Ok_Revolution_5481

Yup hey Celtics Nighty night Bitches

  8. boldstrategies

This was the Smart nut shot right?

  9. SyCoTiM

I would say that it’s their coaching change.

  10. Jicama-Smart

dude, the Celtics made it farther than us this year…. let’s take a chill pill

  11. PhillipMcKrak

This is cringe. Both teams got bounced in pretty embarrassing fashion

  12. ButGodOwnTheBuilding

Coaching is a real thing. While Ime was a piece of shit adulterer, he was actually a good coach. Him getting fired really cost Boston however much he deserved it.

  13. 2635northpark

Jimmy Butler doing that time out back at them was Steph level goat stuff

  14. jesseserious

After all the shit they dumped on us for Klay and JP not showing up this year, what a pleasure seeing their entire team play like G leagers. It’s the conference fucking finals for god’s sake.

  15. TaintYet

Yeah, the Celtics are a head case. Dubs clearly bothered them last year, I think Grant Williams was quoted as saying the best team didn’t win. Whatever gets you thru the night dude…

Then this year, at the peak of their season, easily the most dominant – Boston loses to the Warriors, who were struggling all year.

Dubs are in their heads for sure, prob sharing space w/the Heat too.

  16. shabba_skanks

Game 4. It’s like that Valentines episode of the Simpsons where Lisa breaks the retarded kids hear and they captured it on camera. That was the Celtics last year.

  17. bmeisler

Folks are saying we should trade for JB. No thanks. But how about Poole, Wiggs and picks for Tatum? He just might want out after this, and loves Draymond.

  18. bmeisler

People shit on Kerr, but if you’ve been watching East games, you’ve seen some REALLY bad coaching – Bud, Doc & JFC Mazzula.

  19. Ganonthegoat

Taking credit for them losing the next year is cringe

  20. xpillindaass

just like the draymond punch broke the warriors?

  21. Chief-_-Wiggum

Hubris.. They were full of it last year.. And even worse this. Getting towelled by the Heats in straight sets would be almost better than us winning this year. Lakers getting tossed would be next.

  22. Maverick_Kaizer

Just remember both NY and Bucks too games off the heat when clearly the had injury trouble early in the series and the Celtics can’t even do that right now…. It’s even more sad for the beggar mvp as they were outclassed by the Celtics … a lot of roster rebuilding will definitely be happening this post season

  23. Independent_Stress93

Lol that was my favorite nut hit ever great way to end a great season from our boys

  24. Peepeetodapin

Curry da great franchise destroyer ☠️

  25. Maverick_Kaizer

On paper this roster is a monster and not even Al horford at his Age is unusable. There is no reason from a theoretical sense on why the Celtics are where they are right now … just goes to show that in the game of basketball there a lot of intangibles to consider than sheer talent. I was rooting for the Celtics to come out of the east and thought last year finals was finally the last hurdle that would make taytum make the leap and at times throughout the post season he showed it – especially with how they closed out Philly.

What happened from there to now is surprising to say the least.

Warriors have indeed been special over the last decade in winning and despite what the media can spew, as long as Steph and Kerr are around we will always have a chance

We did not break them nearly as much as the Heat are right now. We won a championship against them but they had a fighting chance and were up twice in the series. This rout by the Heat is far more spirit breaking
