There’s no doubt in my mind Ant will play in Atlanta one day. Maybe not anytime soon, maybe not even in his peak, but- at the very least- when he’s like a 32+ year old declining vet. He just loves this city too much to not want to play here before he retires.

I get the appeal he’s a hometown guy and a young star with a TON of potential but honestly the fit next to Trae is kinda questionable. Ant is incredibly ball dominant and I haven’t seen him consistently show the ability to play off ball. Defensively he’s a pretty good on-ball but he can be a shaky off ball defender which is important for a guy playing next to Trae.

Jaylen coming home is a toss up imo , but when it comes to ANT .. I’m willing to bet my house he’s gonna wear a hawks jersey when it’s said & done .. one of the few hometown kids I’ve seen rep Atlanta like no other .. you can hear it in the way he talks and just about every other way .. don’t know if it’ll be in 5 years , 10, or somewhere in between.. but I just know he’s gonna come home one day
