Nets clear Draft path in the Mikal Bridges era

Adam Armbrecht discusses the clear objectives the Brooklyn Nets should have ahead of next months NBA draft.

Mikal Bridges, along with other key figures, represents the short-term future of the Brooklyn Nets. With that in mind, Sean Marks objective must be to get younger and more skilled around their new star.

  1. @lockedonnets sidy cissoko remind me of Jeff Green. Think that's one person that they should look at along with Leonard Miller

  2. Nets need to be in an asset collection and rebuilding phase. If they dont trade bridges fine. But do not ship out draft capital for reckless win now moves. Ie. The dame trade should be scrapped it's not getting us to title contention. Draft and develop guys and build up the team and see where you are a year from now

  3. Regardless of the direction, whatever young players are drafted or brought in need to get playing time. I personally don’t care if we make the playoffs or not (obviously I rather would especially given we don’t own our own pick), but I care about and value development much more.

  4. Leonard Miller would be a prize if we could draft him. He's 19 years old and was a very good player in the G League. He could play several positions and have a lot of potential. I like the potential of Kris Murray, 22 years old, 6'8", 225 lbs f/pf. Trayce Jackson-Davis is a certified physical player in the paint with NBA ready skills. 6'9", 245 ibs

  5. Nets fans would interested in KJ Martin, 4th pick, 20th pick, 24 26 nets picks, and 25 27 pick swaps for mikal bridges, Finney-Smith, 22nd pick, 25 27 pick swaps and Claxton? Or something like that?
