People always think the grass is greener on the other side. DM has been the PRIMARY ball-handler before coming to the ATL. JB can always defer to Tatum, that’s a BIG difference. I would LOVE to have JB but not at the cost of DM.
Age wise, Passing ability, off-ball defense, Attitude, Leadership, all in DM’s favor. All players have deficiency’s but DM is a better fit. You have to give time for a new teammate to gel.

It took time for Delon Wright to gel, it will also take time for DM too.

Don’t think you’ll have to worry about that one Murray is going to be expecting a massive contract as well not sure how many suitors he will have in the trade market

I’d prefer to trade for KAT and keep DJM. We’d probably have to give up OO and AJ, plus a lot more I’m sure. But he’s what we need, not JB

Seems obvious, we keep DJ and Trae and offer 3 players out of these guys (JC, OO, Saddiq, Bogi, AJ, JJ) and 2 first rounders for him. They need to clean house, but they’ll keep JT, Rob possibly Smart. They might keep JB + JT and trade the rest, but after this season it’s hard to justify $100m in salary for two passive-minded players regardless of their talent.

Definitely taking Brown he fits better with Trae. Y’all really not understanding why two PG lineups fail most of the time. And saying most is being generous because I can’t even remember a finals lineup with two PGs
