It’s like Katy Perry always says, you’re hot *and* you’re cold

  2. MarquisJames

Not that surprising dude has to put the entire team on his back because his wingman is lost in the sauce as are the other role players on the team.

  3. saluting

He had two solid games in this series. Miami is selling on guarding him tight in the 4th because nobody else has that “it factor” late in the game

Let’s talk about Browns 36/12/70 shooting splits instead

  4. Bag_o_Donutz

The excuses will be he is young…just like last year. And you can bet all your shit that next year the same exact excuse will be made when he continues to be an inconsistent enigma of a player

  5. nobody482938

That isn’t even true its JB with the most turnovers lmao just making up shit for likes

  6. BaullahBaullah87

Because we have such skill in this league that doing things reserved for only the best of all time on a given playoff night are more possible than ever…but it doesn’t mean you’re that guy lol

  7. Bacca18121

Well hopefully it’s obvious to people that anyone in the conference finals should be leading these categories.

He’s a scorer part of that package means shooting the ball …. a lot. And yeah the turnovers haven’t been great but as others have pointed out this is just not even factual so…

Because he’s getting hit with doubles and there’s no one to take the pressure off of him. Jaylen Brown is scoring 16 points per game on .377/.100/.500 shooting splits and Brogdon is scoring 11 points per game on .379/.250/.778 shooting splits. Our second most effective scorer has been Derrick White going for 10 points per game because he’s at least been efficient.

It also seems weird to criticize Tatum for volume stats. It’s naturally biased against players who go further despite that being a good thing. He’s still had a solid .585 TS% and he’s only turning the ball over 2.6 times per game. Those haven’t been our issues.

  9. hypercafspazz

    Definitely more questions that answers.

  10. nbianco1999

Jaylen Brown has the best job in the world. It doesn’t matter how bad he plays, all the focus is on Tatum when they lose.

  11. luke_workin

Philly allowed Embiid to be on an island against Tatum. Miami sends help. And also they’re more versatile defensively

  12. nrj6490

I literally already forgot Embiid was the MVP lmao

  13. captaincumsock69

Tbh Tatum hasn’t been the issue

  14. hypercafspazz

Tatum will always have a spot in my heart and I don’t care if 6ers game 7 is the last Celtics playoff win ever.

During game 7 he went off for 51 and seemed like a world beater. That day I got to watch the game with my son who’s been away at college for over a year. That was a special day and I’ll always be thankful to JT for allowing me and my son to share that special moment.

That moment transcends W/L records and title counts.

Thanks JT and I wish he could read this now. JT a real one

I don’t think he’s the main problem(Brown and Mazulla are more of a problem), but anyone can look like a world beater against the Sixers.

  16. Brilliant_Comb_1607

Eric Spolstra can see what Doc Rivers can’t.

  17. F1zzL3_99

Time to stop defending Tatum. He’s not built to lead a team. Just volume shoot.

  18. redbeagle

Tatum has been fine this playoffs, people expect every star to put up Curry-like efficiency ever single game, it’s not going to happen. JT I’d playing great defense and making the plays he’s supposed to make off the double team.

  19. 20124eva

Now he just has to do that 4x in a row and we good

  20. daft_dunkwwwolfey

Yeah he’s been bad, but also very good. People are just piling on after his finals performance. Really it’s just a collective collapse by the whole team which is mind boggling like I got nothing for what I see. The bigs have no discipline or scoring impact. Smart, White, and Brogdon are both like half or less their normal prodction. But I’m so disappointed in JB. After a great start he’s just been awful. And he’s making the SAME. EXACT. mistakes that he made last year. I don’t know what to say anymore I don’t see any improvement and I can’t defend my guy rn he’s literally a pumpkin. You know someone like White can get away with that but not a supposed all star 2nd team all NBA. JB needs some serious work with a vet/coach to do

  21. Bellissimo247

Out of all the problems, Tatum is not one of them.

  22. Mordaunt_

Someone told Tatum this is the finals, not the conference finals.

  23. instantur

1st in missed shots is a given when he is the number 1 option

  24. Ok-Quantity-8861

This is why they said trade him every year even though he is there best player

  25. Hour-School-2255

He keeps forgetting to drive, get fouled, find his shot at the line, then torch everything

  26. Ok-Quantity-8861

But one of the games wasn’t his fault they didn’t give him the ball at all In the 4th

  27. Underrated_Fish

    He’s always been this way
