Maybe operating under the (likely baseless) assumption that Kyrie walks and Dallas still needs a second ballhandler. If you think Dallas needs a creator, Nick Smith is really talented. I know he had a weird season but it’s not that weird to me to be really high on him.

Nick Smith is very talented. I don’t think Mavs draft him – he barely played last year. Battled a knee injury, and didn’t play at all in the tournament.

nbadraft.net drafts the best player available and honestly theyre more accurate with their mocks than other ones. Not a lot, especially in the top 10, draft for fit and this is a very possible scenario for the Mavs. Youre just mad they didnt project who you want

It really is the worst, zero insight and all the NBA player comparisons are literally players who look the same or are same nationality. Any white European is Dirk any African big is Olojuwon has nothing to do with skill set/game

Yes, it is known in nba circles as a good resource for comprehensive prospect lists and low level scouting but a joke for anything beyond that

Considering Smith is starting to get mocked as high as top 5 and most mocks rank by best available not team need, unsure what you’re trying to say.

It’s been about 15 years since they were a decent source for NBA draft stuff.

I can’t see the mavs passing on Walker for a guard at that. It’ll be very interesting to see how picks 4-9 play out tho
