it really is amazing what hard work can do. he always had the skills to be a starter/rotation player but something clicked a few years ago. some of it is just effort now. whether he gets the rebound or not, he absolutely sprints down court. it was embarrassing how often he beat laker guards downcourt.

Jokic actually has by far the best stamina on center position lol. He run transitions faster than AD and because he can’t protect the rim after PNR he simply stays so close to the guards and block their vision and passing lane by his big body.

It took Malone until the post-ASB portion of the 2017 season to see Jokic was clearly their best player. Jokic was killing the entire 17 season. They make the playoffs if he just never plays Nelson and gives Jokic full reign he got later.
