> The Hornets’ ownership situation is currently in flux, [as Adrian Wojnarowski reported](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35875056/michael-jordan-talks-sell-majority-stake-hornets-sources-say) in March that Michael Jordan is in “serious talks to sell a majority stake in the franchise to a group led by Hornets minority owner Gabe Plotkin and Atlanta Hawks minority owner Rick Schnall.” Jordan was awaiting the possibility of landing the No. 1 pick before deciding whether to proceed with a sale, sources told ESPN. It remains to be seen whether moving up to No. 2 changes that plan and what the timetable might look like if a sale did occur, as well as how that might affect the front offices’ decision-making process in regard to who to draft.

> Charlotte is planning on sending its attorneys to Tuscaloosa this week to conduct their own investigation into Miller’s involvement in the Jan. 6 shooting, Jackson told ESPN, and Miller plans to fly to Charlotte in mid-June for a workout and follow-up interview.
Scoot. Scoot. Scoot. Scoot. Scoot. Scoot. Miller. Fuck.
They’re going to take Miller over Scoot huh? Lol
No shit. The team would sell for 500m more if they landed Wemby
It’s still super early but this report along with multiple others say we might really be in on Miller over Scoot. So prepare yourselves for either
MJ has to make sure all his kids and friends on the company payroll land on their feet before he sells
I read the source article. To people freaking out about the Hornets locking in on Miller – that’s really not what it said. It’s just uninformed speculation by other scouts/GMs about what they “think” the Hornets will do. That’s all, just people making their best guesses.
All anybody knows is that the front office is definitely considering both at this point, whereas a year ago, I guess, Scoot would have been a lock.
