For those wondering, no they can’t sign him outright without renouncing basically every free agent besides Reaves and signing minimums, and if Reaves signs an offer sheet they’re screwed
This would need to be a sign and trade. The most obvious move is a double S + T for D-Lo (grotesque) but if you think Fred can be infuriating to watch him hero ball…woof
There’s also some combination involving Mo Bamba’s contract but either way it’s a shit sandwich of a return

Lakers keep Rui and pay Fred 10.

Their ceiling would be higher with Fred. He’s not going rock the boat like Kyrie would. He’d be able to play like he did when Kyle was still around. He would be the 3rd/4th option on the Lakers.
