I don't like how Cowherd keeps talking about European basketball being selfless. Jokic is a great talent but his approach to the game is not really much different from Lebron and Magic, two great non-European talents.
How high does Jokic get on the all time centers list with a title and Finals MVP? He'll still be behind, in my opinion…Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Hakeem and Robinson. But his resume could match up against anyone else, and that's not considering what else he'll add on to. A title run while taking out KD/Book, Bron/AD along with red hot HOF-esque Jimmy Butler? With no fellow all star? I know Murray is all star level, but still, no official selections. Denver has a chance to contend for a while behind The Joker.

Also yeah, as a nuggets fan I'd admit and wouldn't be the first, Joker is perhaps the most boring great big ever to watch. Like he's boring, and that's a handful of why he and the nuggets are overlooked. They kinda just go do it, whatever. That's fine.

So I guess the media is going to forget how bad LeFumble was down the stretch this series
G1: Less than 1 min left and bricks a 3 and the nuggets win
G2: Missed multiple open layups and a free dunk, then missed the layup late to make it 2 and got the ball stolen to seal the game
G3: whole team collapsed down the stretch
G4: horribly missed with under a minute left and then later had 4 seconds to tie the game off the inbound and couldn’t even get a shot off

Im not crowning anybody a goat center or player until you lead your team to multiple championships. Then we can talk. These days people crown too early and it always never comes into fruition. We will see! As of now he's a good player.
Let's be honest. The only reason he's not celebrated more is because he's white.
The no ego thing gets talked about a lot, but not really in the context of what it does for the team. Jokic can be the undisputed best player on the court without making his teammates feel like role players. A guy like Murray doesn't randomly go off for a 20 point 4th quarter or a 30 point first half without Jokic being humble and telling reporters Murray is the best player on the team. There's a lot to be said for being the best player in the world and having guys want to play with you – not because they're piggy backing to a chip, but because they're having fun.
