Clan, I personally only subscribed you and TSR as I find you guys pretty helpful and entertaining. You guys seem to have genuine love for the Spurs which I have as well. Given that I do not agree every take you post (which is understandable because you and I are different individual with different opinion) and there are times I am thinking, you get into on some ex-Spurs spewing hateful and meaningless comments (which I tend to ignore) but that's about it. If there are people who like you, I am sure there are people who can't stand you. It's just nature of human especially on this side of the world. Keep up with your posting as there are many who enjoy.
Let the kid skills do the talking, if he cant, then move on.

I do appreciate you as a Spurs content creator. There aren’t many out there, certainly not with your level of quality/quantity. In regards to your take about the Spurs moving to Austin I respectfully disagree in the strongest possible terms. Having been born and raised in San Antonio I have a great sense of pride for my city. The rich Hispanic and military cultures make for a diverse and amazing home that I love for its faults and for its vast potential. Even so, San Antonio has regularly been overlooked for private investment in major league sports or otherwise, usually in favor of Austin. Hell it was just a few years ago that the Spurs themselves were screwed over for an MLS expansion in favor of, you guessed it, Austin. I love the Spurs because they respect and try to represent all that I feel is good in San Antonio. Pop and David Robinson with their Military ties, Manu represented for the Latinos like myself. Moving them to Austin completely severs that connection that makes me such a huge fan. I suspect that is the case for many San Antonio based fans as well. Questioning the loyalty of fans in SA for a hypothetical move to Austin completely disregards the cultural ties this org has in the city as well as the history of San Antonio constantly being overlooked.
I’m a Filipino but I don’t want him to be a spur. Sorry but he’s not nba ready and I don’t know if he will ever be but I hope he makes it someday but not with the spurs. He won’t fit spurs system. It’s just the truth, been a spurs fan since I was 13 so I pretty much know a lot about the team and the system. And ever since I followed your channel it’s like we’re always on the same page about the team, great takes on everything about spurs! this is my first time hearing about Kai I am lost
we think things a little different. I am a hard core San Antonio fan. My teams represent my city or state. Most of us are hard core fans, but I think we support San Antonio team and not the logo.
as a filipino, im always rooting for my country and i hope sotto can turn it all around and become a player in the league, even if it’s just a role player. however, with what he’s shown, i don’t see it happening. his shooting splits are pretty solid and his stats are ok, but overall he isn’t anything special right now. and he’s already 21yo. if he’s got it, it’s gotta happen this summer league or else he’s most likely not getting another chance. hope he can make it though.
Clan, I wouldn’t worry about a couple of casuals that don’t love the game as much as you and your subscribers do. You’re the top YouTuber when it comes to spurs content. I believe your channel will explode in the near future with all the moves that the spurs has done over the past year and a half. Better things are coming!

As a Filipino, I think Kai has the potential to be great. He can dominate the league with his size, strength, agility, and finesse. He also has the ability to shock the world with every move he make. I think he will be a perfect fit for Phoenix or Warriors. He can be a legit perennial all-star if that happen.

I'd rather have Boban back, Kai can get more experience playing overseas and be more beneficial for the national team.
I'm a Filipino, born and raised, and, to me, Kai Sotto is ASSCHEEKS if we're talking about NBA LEVEL. NBA LEVEL. If you compare him to Filipino prospects, sure, lots of upside in comparison to the type of caliber he'd compete against in the PBA. But NBA LEVEL? On a global scale in terms of prospects? The dude is NOT even sniffing a 2-way contract. He doesn't even have the soft skills, let alone the motor to be a spur big man. He's gonna look like he's stuck in the mud even on G-league level.
My fellow Filipinos are just being unreasonable delusional stans, as is the prevalent culture here. Kai Sotto is a good local player but he is asscheeks-brown-bag-in-the-gutter type of talent on the NBA level. If there'd be a Philippine-born player in the NBA one day, I would like that person to at least be a good role player. Not a token "first."
