I watched the new Marble movie because it was recommended to me as something that’s weird and different enough from their usual sludge to appeal to folks that are Marbled-out. And I did enjoy it, mostly. Even if none of the dozens of 90s needle drops did anything for me, and I’m not getting anywhere near a 2000s version if they do one.
But at the same time, all I could think after was WTF YOU JUST PAID SAM RAIMI A BUNCH OF MONEY TO COME OUT OF RETIREMENT, AND YET *THIS* IS THE DIRECTOR WHO GETS TO MAKE ONE WHERE FACES GET PEELED OFF?!
