[Bradeaux] EG on Harden returning to Houston: “If I (look at) a young team that’s trying to figure out a way to get back into winning, why wouldn’t you want to have a guy like (Harden) on the team. You need veterans at the end of the day, that’s the only way players grow, being around veterans.”
Eric Gordon on his stance of Harden returning to Houston:
“If I (look at) a young team that’s trying to figure out a way to get back into winning, why wouldn’t you want to have a guy like (James Harden) on the team.

Note: I’m not a proponent of Harden coming back unless it’s on a good deal, but this is an interesting podcast to listen to.
EG talks about the young guys, importance of veterans and reminisces the good old days in Houston. Makes the point that as much crap as people give Harden he has never missed the playoffs in his career. Highly recommend giving this episode of Kelly Iko’s podcast if you have the time.
You either sign some veterans or wait for your young players to turn into veterans
Yeah i prefer to have scoot henderson or amen run point tbh but i am open to the idea of harden too. Idk, im just excited for udoka and the growth of the guys we already have too
This sub all year: we need vets to teach these guys how to play!
This sub all week: no, not like that!
Didn’t Harden force his way out because he didn’t want to be part of a rebuild?
Thank you. The collective stupidity I’ve witnessed around here regarding this possible signing is mind numbing.
There’s like this silent force trying to get the band back together.
