The odds are against him….look at his flamingo frog legs. He’s gonna be like Chet Holmgren…barely touched and the out for the season. The scary truth is that most big men 7 foot + are injury prone and their average shelf life in the league is not long at all. So, Spurs have a very small window to win with him. While he’s young and if he stays healthy, he should be good for a while, but I won’t be surprised if he misses games like Zion.

As far as I saw from the media coverage and the talent enhancement (lack of) in many of the league's clubs, the Spurs are the perfect destination.
If he was to be drafted elsewhere, he would turn into a bust in a blink, or at least will get in the injuries/ load management thing, anyone remember the " UNICORN"?
The kid will do great in my opinion, but I hope he will just ignore the media/ hype/ lifestyle and concentrate on Pop's instructions/ guidance + basketball. Glad he's educated and acts older than his age.
In addition, I expect he will really shine in his 2nd year, and the Spurs will be in title picture within 4 years (if the team was build around him in Spurs style).
About top 30/20/10, it's so early to even consider that, he has yet to hoop in an NBA court, but if built in a Duncan/ KD/ Giannis combination, he'll be in the next top 100 anniversary team in the least.

KG, Dirk and AD are power forwards, not centers – they especially weren't centers when they first entered their primes.
There is a good chance Victor will be a disappointment. That is what people aren't saying.
I just hopes his trainer helps him out on gaining muscle to help alleviate injuries. It would be nice to see a battle of the bigs.
Wemby's weakness is health bcuz his body is going to have hard times to overcome the physicality of the league. they better interest more about his durability, his longevity, his availability bcuz the key of success at this NBA level is his health, not his ceiling 🤔

The only things that's for certain is the Spurs have a ton of draft capital for these next coming years and they also have a lot of cap space. I'm mostly excited for those 3 unprotected 1st rd Hawks picks that come over starting in 2025. All of those assets are going to seriously expedite the Spurs' transition into a serious contender by putting all the necessary pieces around Wemby, it is a legitimate possibility where the Spurs can trade away some younger talent combined with draft picks for an MVP level player AND also sign another MVP player to build around Victor…
If Victor scores 40 every game banking I could care less. Bring it we ready
