The Knicks came into the first game of the 2nd round at home in The Garden and were leading the Heat by 5 at the half. It was Miami that came alive in the second half thanks to Jimmy Butlers’ 25 points and 11 rebounds. The Knicks were missing Julius Randle due to a sprained left ankle. The Knicks look to rebound at The Garden on Tuesday for Game 2.

Randle scoring was missed this game and the 3ball shooting was main area why this game was loss. The Knicks scored 62 points in the paint so something was working but when Miami clogged up the paint the outside shots were not dropping. Thibs should have put Deuce on Lowry he took over late. The bench was short and non-productive.

Knicks will lose this series in 6 games. There was a reason why Heat chose to be 8th seed. Although Heat can take the 6th or 7th seed. This a a well-planned Playoff Strategy by the whole Heat Organization because they wanted to save the best for last… an Eastern Conference Finals again against Celtics to redeem our lost last season. GO Heat Culture! Stay under the radar and surprise all the higher teams. Wit or without Randle, he is insignificant in this series. If Knicks wants to win, Brunson must step up.😉
As a Knicks fan that is a devastating loss. The heat came in here and punched us in the mouth. I am not sure if there's any coming back from this. All I can hope is that Jimmy Butler's injury is as bad as it looked and he can't play the next games

We're good. If Grimes is healthy, he should be back in the starting lineup. One of our strengths was our depth but the injuries has have hurt. Grimes was a plus and with him in the game, Lowry was in cuffs. We were up or making a run with Grimes in the game. He only played 10 minutes but he was a plus. He can hit 3's and Ft's. And he's arguably our best defender on the wing. It puts hart back on the bench where he's been a spark since joining the team.
If Randle is healthy enough to play, we still win the series in less than 7.
