I mean, he’s probably not looking to take much money at this point of his career. And he’d be the best player our team. He carried that bum Lakers squad to the Conference finals. I 100% think Brunson would be an incredible SG, I’m all for this.

I’m not doing this shit again.

Only if Bronny comes too .

Outside of that, no deal , no dice. He had his chance . I recall Lebron taking a meeting with us back with Nelly was in charge and he was turned off because Don was in a wheelchair. Meh.

Every old banged up guy comes here for his last big check. We’ve seen this over and over. Nah.

I’d rather never win than do this.

  5. Constt-Fi

It’ll be very Knicks for us to get him when he’s a husk of himself

Me: “hey I’ve seen this before it’s a classic”

Knicks for clicks media: “what are you talking about it’s brand new”

I think it would be fun to have Lebron!

Free-agent on a favorable contract of course

Lebron is taking the year off and then signing with whatever team drafts his kid.

I think LeBron just wants to play for a team where he doesn’t have to play 48 minutes to have a shot. Less than 5% chance we get him, but we’re just fine either way. He’s still effective. He would very clearly be a #2 behind JB, and Randle might actually flourish not having to be a #2 anymore.

I can’t do this whole thing again. Nope.

Hell if it meant that we got James Gandolfini back, trying to recruit him to the Knicks, then I’ll go back to 2010

I pray that we don’t get LeBron. Great player and everything but we have no reason to add an old player that requires us to disassemble our pretty successful young team. Even if it gave us a championship it would be horrible long term.

This is getting dangerously close to a Rangers moment

Rose/Fournier/Protected pick and that’s it. Anything more and I’m good

  15. I’ve been doing this shit to myself EVERY year he’s been a free agent since I was 14 years old… I’m 27 and you know what? There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.

Is he bringing Austin Reeves with him? 😉

  17. Alphius247

Honestly, should have came in 2010. Now, meh.

  18. alfacamaro

Golden State’s odds are improving to land him. Could make some sense.

I like Lebron, but I can’t imagine this would be a good fit for either team or player when you factor in what would likely have to be sent back for him.

There are just better fits for Lebron, and better options for us.

On the plus side the memes would be nice.

I’ll give you…. Our next 3 Second Rounders. And. Idk. The euro kid we stashed away…
