  1. As a Knicks fan I love Melo and respect him so much for coming here and taking the challenge of playing in NY. However I don't think his jersey should hang in the garden. I mean it wasn't entirely his fault because management has sucked here for years but he didn't accomplish anything here. The team was relevant for one year and then faded until he was finally traded. Hell Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell did more for the franchise than Melo, sorry.

  2. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Knicks better not retire his bum a$s jersey Brian’s take was on point PHYUCK MELO

  3. Don't forget, Dolan is the owner of the knicks, not to mention, Melo representation of that (7) didn't make him a media darling…much respect to "A God"…salute.

  4. Really? Teams retiring number on making to the 2nd round once and most getting mauled at first round.

  5. Melo fans are some of the most delusional out there. He was a great player, HOF but did nothing for the knicks or the nuggets worthy of a Jersey retirement. He’d be retired purely based off of popularity and not results

  6. He was very good but slightly overrated. He shouldn't get his jumber retired. Also, it seems they're forgetting jokic is #15 in Denver. Jokic is going to get his number retired

  7. Who's comparing Fresno to LA?? Literally..I'm from da No, spent time in the bay area (SJ). Been to LA several times. This must be an outta state thing lmfao

  8. if you can look at a player at the end of their career and just reduce it down to whether or not they won a championship, then they must have not done anything right in their career. if they did something right, it wouldn't just be about whether or not they won a ring. Carmelo's had an amazing career with or without the ring.

  9. He was a one trick pony that made absolutely NO ONE any better. He couldn’t and wouldn’t guard a dead body. Plus passing the ball was considered an insult to him. Most overrated player in the last 30 years.
